  3164   Peeps2Go QR Code Share for Adding New Devices Enhancement   True
 
 
 
There's an all-new 'QR Code for Mobile Access' button in Peeps2Go!  This allows you to easily add Peeps2Go to new devices, by simply scanning your store's QR code!

When setting-up additional devices -- e.g. an iPad for employees, an employee's cell phone, etc. -- just open Peeps2Go any of your existing devices and tap the 'QR Code for Mobile Access' button.  You'll have two QR codes available -- one for 'External Access' and one for 'Internal Access'.  There's a little help tip beneath each one, explaining when to scan which code.  e.g. If you're only using Peeps2Go in-store, while on your store's WiFi, scan the 'Internal Access' QR code and you're all set!

This new QR code system makes adding new devices a breeze!

You can now set and require a PIN for Peeps' Texter!  This is a handy way to prevent unauthorized text messages going out to consignors/customers in bulk.

Just click the 'Require PIN' option and you'll be prompted to configure your new PIN.

  3156   Copy Pricing Suggestions from One Category To Another Enhancement   True
 
 
 
You can now copy Pricing Suggestions from one Category to another!  This is SUPER handy if you've built a bespoke list of Pricing Suggestions under one Category and want to use the same Pricing Suggestions for another Category.

To copy Pricing Suggestions, just head to the Category's Pricing Suggestions you want to copy.  Then, select the Department > Category you want to copy Pricing Suggestions TO.

If the 'destination' Category already has Pricing Suggestions, Peeps will prompt to let you know you're about to replace them with the new ones (and you can choose to bail-out, if you're not sure).

That's it!  Now you don't have to manually re-enter that price list on another Category.

  3140 Option To Disable the 'Success' Prompt When Adding New Accounts Enhancement   False
   
   
You can now choose whether or not you'll see a 'Success' prompt when adding new accounts!  By default, Peeps shows you a success window to let you know the account was successfully added, showing their name, Account ID, etc.

If you'd like to disable this prompt (which is handy if you're going straight to entering inventory), click the 'Settings' icon at the top of the Add Account screen and un-check the 'Show Success Prompt' option.

This is a per-computer preference.

  3139 Add Account @ POS Does Not Enable 'Online Access' If Enabled Under Store Policies Bug   False
   
   
When adding new accounts from Point of Sale -- as opposed to from the Home/Account screen -- the 'Online Access' store policy setting was not being honored.  Thus, any accounts added from POS, would not be able to log-in to the Consignor Login system unless their 'Online Access' option was manually enabled after adding their account.

This issue has been resolved!

You can now mark appointments as 'Missed'!  This allows you to flag an appointment if it's missed, which is helpful when booking future appointments for accounts.

To mark an appointment as Missed, there are two ways to do so:

• From the Appointment Scheduler screen, right-click on the appointment and click 'Mark as Missed'.
• From within the appointment itself, click the 'Mark Missed' button.

Any missed appointments will show an orange color indicator both on the Appointment Scheduler screen, as well as on the Appointments tab within an account.  This helps quickly notice missed appointments.

Peeps will also alert when adding a new appointment, if the account holder has any previously-missed appointments.

There's an all new Appointment Scheduler Settings screen for your Appointment Scheduler!  As the Appointment Scheduler has grown over the years, a dedicated settings screen was warranted.

You'll see the Settings icon at the top-right of the Appointment Scheduler screen.

Currently, the following options are available under the Appointment Scheduler Settings screen:

• Max # of Appointments Per Day
• Max # of Appointments Per Time Slot
• Allow 'Blocked' Accounts to Book Appointments
• BCC Store Email on New Appointments
• Customize the Appointment Confirmation Email
• Enable/control the Automatic Appointment Reminder system

There's also a new Access Level to go along with this, so you can prevent access to specific users.

  3092 Option To 'Force Punch-Out' An Employee That's Currently Punched-In Enhancement   False
   
   
There's a new 'Force Punch-out' feature that allows you to punch-out a user who forgot to clock-out -- e.g. someone forgot to punch-out and has gone on vacation.

To force punch-out a user, click the Punch List button to view the list of users currently punched-in/out.  Right-click on the user in question and click 'Force Punch-out'.  You'll be prompted to confirm before punching-out as well.

If you attempt to punch-out your own account, Peeps will prompt that force punches cannot be done on your own account.

Peeps also checks to confirm if the user really is punched-in, before force punching-out the user.

And lastly, there's a new Access Level for this feature, so you can prevent unauthorized access to the Force Punch-out feature.  This Access Level defaults to 100 (the highest security level).

You can now customize the Drop n Go confirmation email!  To edit your Drop n Go email, click the Settings icon at the top-right of the Drop n Go screen.

You'll see a new 'Confirmation Email' text box, already set to the default message Peeps was using up until now.

There are also two automatic 'merge fields' for the message -- <StoreName> and <StorePhone>, which will automatically merge your store's name and phone number, if you'd like.

On the Add Inventory screen, previously, if you right-clicked an item from the list at the bottom of the screen -- e.g. to Clone it, to add a POS Alert, etc. -- the 'focus' of the cursor wouldn't return to the main form.  Thus, you couldn't continue on with a 'Enter, Type, Enter, Type...' workflow until you clicked into any field on the screen.

Now, focus automatically returns to either the Department or the Category field, based on which has something selected, if anything at all.

If you entered two items, then voided one, when you went to print tags for this batch (either during or after), the 'From' for the From/Through fields would start with the voided item.  The result was, the Batch would ignore the items since the first one was voided and wouldn't print -- but ONLY if you were using a 2-Across tag format.

This issue has been resolved!

  3059 Clicking Save vs. Hitting Enter on Add Inventory, Causes 'Focus' of Cursor to Be In List of Items Bug   False
   
   
When entering inventory, if you were utilizing the mouse vs. typing/entering via keyboard, when you clicked the 'Save Item' button, 'focus' of the cursor wouldn't return to the first field (i.e. Department or Category).  Instead, focus was 'off form', so you had to either click in one of the fields (which wouldn't always work), or hit Tab on the keyboard to get the cursor out of the space it was in.

This issue has been resolved!

You can now connect your mobile device to Peeps2Go by simply scanning a QR code!

For both first-time setups, as well as when adding additional devices, head to Settings > Store > Online.  There's a new 'QR Code' tab under Peeps2Go Settings.  You'll find both an 'External Access' and 'Internal Access' QR Code.  There's also a handy Show/Hide button to toggle the on-screen QR codes on/off, so it's easier to scan from a mobile device (vs. having to cover one up with your hand!)

You can now choose to hide the 'Status Receipt' checkbox/option on the Status Inventory screen.

To hid the Status Receipt option, click the Settings icon at the top of the Status Inventory screen and un-check the 'Show Status Receipt' option.

Whether you want the Status receipt to always be on and prevent employees from turning it off, or you want it to always be off and don't want employees turning it on, this option lets you accomplish just that!

You can now control the image scale/re-size amount for images added via Peeps2Go!  To control your image scaling (i.e. to decrease/increase the size of the pics you upload), head to Settings > Store > Online.  The default scaling amount is '2', but you can adjust this as needed.

This helps prevent excessively-large images from being uploaded from mobile devices.

You can now create your own, custom Payout Types in Peeps!  Instead of just the static list of Payout Types -- i.e. Check, Cash, PayPal, and Forfeit -- you can now add to this list and even deactivate Payout Types you might not utilize.

To create your own Payout Types, head to Settings > Store > More and you'll find the new Payout Types button.

And this, of course, ties in to all/any reports that allow you to report on specific Payout Types too!

There are two new Appointment Scheduler settings!  In this release, there's a 'Max # of Appointments Per Day' setting, as well as a 'Max # of Appointments Per Time Slot' setting.  This allows you to set a limit on how many appointments can be booked on a specific date, as well as how many can be booked for a specific time on the same date.

To access these new settings, click the 'Settings' icon at the top of the Appointment Scheduler screen.  The default setting is zero (0) for both of these, which you can leave it set at for no max.

There's a new 'Select Date' pop-up when viewing/printing Till Totals!  Previously, Till Totals were always for 'today'.  Now, a little date selector will pop-up when you click Totals, allowing you to either quickly hit Enter for 'today', or quickly type/select a date and then hit Enter.

This is an optional setting, which is on by default.  If you'd like to disable this new feature, click the Settings icon on your Till screen!

You can now block specific accounts from booking appointments!  Within each account, on the 'More...' tab, there's a new 'Appointments' checkbox.  This box is checked/appointments are allowed by default.  If you have a specific account you'd like to flag/block for appointments, you can un-check this option on their account.

There's an additional feature that goes along with this, under your Appointment Scheduler Settings called "Allow 'Blocked' Accounts to Book Appointments".  By default, this is un-checked, so if someone attempts to book an appointment for a blocked account, Peeps will alert that they're not allowed to schedule appointments.

If you'd like to have the option to override that and allow a blocked account to book anyway, un-check this Appointment Scheduler option and Peeps will still alert you, but will let you choose whether or not you'd like to continue booking the appointment.

You can now set a unique PIN for each employee in your store!  Currently, employee PINs can be used in your Peeps2Go timeclock system, so employees can easily and quickly punch-in/-out!

To set a user's PIN, head to their User Account @ Settings > Users/Security.  On their 'Security' tab within their account, you'll find the new PIN field.

Once set, an employee can use this to punch-in/-out from a tablet in your store!

You can now specify how frequently Peeps syncs with Shopify!  By default, Peeps syncs with Shopify every 30 minutes.  You can adjust this via Settings > Store > Online > Shopify Settings.  When configuring the Automatic Sync, you'll be able to set the number of minutes for the Automatic Sync.  The lowest value is 15 minutes, the highest is every 60 minutes.

You can now control the Appointment Reminder System directly from Peeps!  Peeps' Software has a built-in Appointment Reminder System, to send out email reminders the day before an appointment's date.  To control/enable this, it had to be done directly from the .exe itself.

You can now enable Reminders from the Settings screen on the Appointment Scheduler screen.

Reminders run daily at a specific time which you can set/change.  The default time is 9:00 AM every day.

You can now scan a driver license/state ID to fill-in a new account's information!  When adding accounts, you'll see a new 'Scan ID' button.  Simply click this and you'll see a friendly screen asking you to scan the ID.  Scan the consignor's/customer's ID and the on-screen display will show you as it scans and reads the ID, then automatically fills-in the account fields for you!

You can scan IDs on the main Add Account screen, as well as if you add an account from Point of Sale.

There's also a setting on the Add Account screen, allowing you to disable the Scan ID button altogether, if your store doesn't utilize this feature.

Most "2D" barcode scanners have the ability to scan the type of barcode on the back of driver licenses/state IDs -- i.e. PDF417 Barcode.  Some scanners capable of scanning this barcode, might not be pre-programmed to do so though and might require configuration in order to scan IDs.  All new scanners purchased from The Computer Peeps come pre-configured to scan PDF417 Barcodes!

You can now automatically capture a Driver License/ID # when scanning IDs!  This is optional and is not enabled by default.  To enable Driver License capture when scanning IDs, click the Settings icon at the top of the Add Account screen.

Once enabled, when a Driver License is successfully scanned into Peeps and the account is added, their Driver License/ID # will be securely stored in their account.

Their Driver License/ID # can be viewed/edited after the fact, by clicking the "ID" button on the More... tab of their account.

All Driver Licenses/IDs are encrypted when stored and are not stored in plain text.

There is also an Access Level associated with viewing/editing Driver Licenses on accounts, which is set to a Level 100 by default.
