There's a new Activity Type for 'Viewed Account' events.  Even though Peeps logs the 'Last Viewed' within an account, when someone views it again that date/time is just updated. With the addition of a dedicated 'Viewed Account' Activity Type, each time a user views an account this is written to the system's Activity Log. This means you can now go back and view historical entries.  :) Tying in with this is the addition of the 'Activity' dropdown under Reports > More > Activity Log.  So you can select just a specific Activity -- e.g. 'Viewed Account' and a specific date range, then see all accounts (Account ID, First Name, Last Name) viewed in that time period and by who. This came up while working with Trendz!

There's an all new Stats report -- Percentage Sold At a Discount!  This shows a list of Categories and a comparison of the percentage sold at a discount vs. percentage sold at full price. This report displays the following columns: • Item Category • # Items Sold • # Items Sold At a Discount • # Sold At Full Price • % Sold At a Discount • % Sold At Full Price • Avg. Discount This is a great way to spot items that are or are not selling at full price and you can filter on any date range as well. This was requested by Andrea @ Great Labels!

Option to *Not* Fetch Smart Pricing for Size (So Only Category > Brand Are Considered)

There's a new option for Smart Pricing during Add Inventory that lets you switch-off 'Size' for the prices retrieved. By default, Peeps first fetches prices based on Category, then after you type a Brand it updates based on Category > Brand, and finally after you type a Size, it updates based on Category > Brand > Size. With this new option switched-off, the Smart Pricing will no longer auto-update after typing a Size, so you fetched prices hold @ Category > Brand. To adjust this option, click the Settings icon at the top of the Add Inventory screen. This was requested by Sarah @ omt!

Credit Card Integration -- Void Sale for Sale from a Previous Day (ReturnByRecNo)

You can now safely void a sale from a previous day and the credit card payments properly return. Prior to this, Peeps was doing an absolute 'VoidSaleByRecNo'.  This is great and easy, but it is *only* available for sales that have transpired the same day -- i.e. have not been batched-out yet.  In order to 'void' payments from a previous day, a slightly different method has to be utilized (ReturnByRecNo) and Peeps now supports this. The void sale process is still the same and this method is automatically handled by Peeps.

Void Sale -- Voiding Original Gift Card Sale After Use Results In Negative Balance

If a gift card was issued, then redeemed later on, if someone went back and voided the *original* sale where the gift card was issued it resulted in a negative balance. You *should* be able to safely void the original sale though and now you can. Voiding a sale where the gift card was originally issued *and* has been used/redeemed now results in a proper adjustment of the remaining balance. If you void the *original* sale, but the gift card had already been used, you can expect to see the following: • Original gift card transaction when it was first 'Created' • Any gift card transactions where it was 'Redeemed' • A new 'Adjustment (Down)' transaction to deplete the remaining balance on the card down to $0.00 This issue was reported by Michelle @ The Give Back Boutique and Kimberly @ Triage Consignment!

QuickSnaps are officially here!  This has been in beta for a while, but QuickSnaps is now officially available throughout Peeps! What are QuickSnaps? QuickSnaps allow stores to automatically snap a picture for the following processes in Peeps: • Adding Inventory/Batches • Drop n Gos • Payouts • Point of Sale QuickSnaps are automatically stored and associated with each Batch, Drop, Payout, Sale, etc. so you can quickly and easily view the picture from that day. Great for verifying what a batch of inventory looked like at the moment of entry, what a bag/tote looked like from a Drop, etc.

Show A Large Notice During Bulk Checks When Ready to Print Itemized Payout Report(s)

Peeps' Texter -- Update Queries to Exclude Invalid Phone #s

Pole Display Integration @ POS

Pole Display integration has been added to Peeps!  We initially didn't add this as there were options stores were requesting more, such as our Customer Facing Displays. Stores that already had a Pole Display in place though and converted to Peeps were stuck. So we've added integration and this can now be enabled @ Settings > Point of Sale > Pole Display. The Pole Display will display the Category and the Price as you scan items into Peeps' POS. The following options are currently available: • Enable/disable Pole Display • COM Port • Custom Message The Custom Message allows you to set a special 'idle' message -- e.g. 30% off Friday!  If the Custom Message is no enabled or if it's blank, the Store Name will display instead. This was requested by Amy @ The Clothes Rack!

SKU Lookups for Inventory

SKU lookups for items @ POS have been added!  You can now set your own, custom SKU on individual items -- e.g. if you receive inventory from a specific vendor/designer that pre-tags items with unique SKUs. You can then 'lookup' these items @ POS by using the 'L' key on your keyboard!  This lets you quickly ring-up these items @ POS without having to print a tag from Peeps. This was requested by Amy @ The Clothes Rack!

We've added a Peeps2Go Watchdog that ensures your Peeps2Go server is always running! Since Peeps2Go is a background process, there are times when processes can stop running.  If that happens, it means you, vendors, etc. are unable to connect to Peeps2Go. With the addition of the new Peeps2Go Watchdog system, this automatically checks every 5 minutes to ensure your Peeps2Go system is running. This can be enabled in Peeps on your server system @ Settings > Peeps2Go.

Payouts for Previous Month/Selective Time Frames Should Not Let Accounts Go Into the Negative

Payouts for the previous month (or any selective time frame) no longer cause accounts to go into the negative. Previously, when using the From/Through dates (e.g. to pay for a previous month, for stores that take refunds, etc.), if a consignor's transactions fell in such a way that a positive amount was within the from/through but a negative amount was outside the from/through, it would lead to the account's balance going into the negative. Account debts always need to be included/settled in a payout (i.e. debts first) so an account cannot go upside-down and end up in a situation where they're in the negative. This was technically patched in the v2.22 maintenance update released in early November, but is now officially part of Peeps v3.00. This was reported by multiple stores, including Worthy Girl, Fifi's, The Green Monkey, and Triage.

Resolved an issue that led to "markdowns for the previous items" printing on subsequent tags.  This would result in the wrong markdowns printing on the tags, even though the internal markdowns were correct. The POS Item-On-the-Fly screen has received a makeover and some much-requested improvements! In summary, this screen is way faster to navigate now.  For stores heavily-utilizing the on-the-fly function (e.g. malls, stores selling boutique items, etc.) this screen was slowing them down. First, you can set the default/remembered Department and Category now, so for stores who don't want to choose a specific Category, these two fields can be defaulted so they're auto-set to your preference. With that in place, you're instantly in the 'Note' field now.  Then it's either type a Note, hit Enter, type the Price, hit Enter and you're done, or hit Enter, type the Price, hit Enter and you're done. The user interface has been better laid-out too and it should just *feel* better now. This was requested by several stores, including Tara Bella and Corner Consignment!

To set your Banner Alert, head to Settings > Store > More -- you'll find the new Banner Alerts button. You can set the following for a Banner Alert: • Text -- The message you'd like to display • Type -- This controls the color/intensity of the alerts, ranging from Info to Emergency • Start Date -- You can specify the date your banner should appear and it will automatically display on that date, even if Peeps is already open.  :) We're planning on bringing Banner Alerts into accounts as well and we've been using both of these here in Custy for about half a year now and we wanted to bring this feature to Peeps!

SimpleConsign barcodes can now be scanned-in to the Status Inventory screen!  Since SimpleConsign utilizes alpha-numeric barcodes, these were not allowed in the numeric-only field where Barcodes were scanned-in to Peeps. With more and more stores coming over from SimpleConsign, the Status Inventory screen needed to be able to handle existing SimpleConsign barcodes on the Status Inventory screen in Peeps. As long as 'Converted Barcodes' and 'Dirty' for the barcode type are selected, you can now scan/type SimpleConsign's alpha-numeric barcodes into the Status Inventory screen. Peeps now shows a simple/generic credit card icon on the first button (which is typically the 'Visa' button), but only if MasterCard, Amex, and Discover are switched-off. You can now define a preferred Split at the Department level!  This means you can default new Categories under a specific Department, to a Split of your choosing. Since Categories can have their own Split assigned to them (e.g. Necklace, Bracelet, etc.) it's not a huge leap to want to have the Department these Categories are in always take on the unique Split they should have. This saves you from having to remember to change/set the Category's Split when making a new Category -- e.g. So any items under the 'Jewelry' Department always take on your unique jewelry Split.

There's a new 'Mail Checks' option for accounts in Peeps!  By default, this option is on for all accounts by default.  If an account holder wishes to not have their checks mailed, un-checking this box within their account will result in *** DO NOT MAIL CHECK *** printing in-place of their mailing address on checks. This way they can still be included in the bulk check run, but their checks specifically will be marked for easy identification for pick-up.

There's an all-new 'Sold (w/ Sales History)' report for Account Printouts! The current Sold report reports on items that currently have a Status of Sold.  When an item is a multi-quantity item, its Status is Available, so it's not considered for this report (not yet sold-out). In order to gain insight into the times the item has sold, we need to look at the itemized sale history.  This report does just that and now shows the itemized sale history of items vs. looking for items with a current Status of Sold.  This provides reporting on sales history for multi-quantity items. This was requested by multiple stores, including A2Z and Ottoman Society!

You can now specify a Tag Count at the Category level!  This means you can auto-set ahead of time a custom number of tags for certain types of inventory -- e.g. Shoes, Dining Sets, etc. When entering inventory, as you move through the Category field, if the selected Category has a Tag Count set you'll see the item's Tag Count auto-update to the quantity specified for the Category.  The field itself will also toggle red to try and draw attention to the automatic change that has happened. Per Account (Consignor/Vendor) % Discounts So Vendors (or the Store) Can Put Their Items On Sale

Per-Account discounts are here!  Our malls have been asking for a way to put items on sale, but only for a specific account/vendor.  Well now it's here.  :) Each account can now have its own Inventory Sale set.  This can be done by the store within the account itself, by going to the More tab then clicking Inventory Sale. We've built-in a few options for this to help make this flexible for stores/vendors, including: • Discount % • Discount Active (lets the sale be switched-off, without having to change the % to 0) • From/Through Dates (lets the sale run only from/through a specific time period) When an account's/vendor's items are on sale, a nice, large notice will appear @ POS when the item is scanned so you can see why the item is reduced in price.  There's a setting for this as well @ Settings > Point of Sale, if you don't want to see the notice each time. There is also a 'Bulk Change' setting for this new discount, so stores can enable/disable discounts in bulk @ Settings > Store > More. Before the final release there will also be the following features: • Vendor controls for their discounts within Peeps2Go, so vendors can put their own items on sale • Controls within Peeps @ Settings > Peeps2Go so stores can enable/disable whether vendors are allowed to discount their own items or not. This has been one of our biggest requests from malls and a big thank you to both Ashley @ A2Z and Nikki @ Consignment Corner for requesting this!

Only Open Cash Drawer w/ Cash Sales or No Sale

Peeps can now only pop the cash drawer when change is due!  We have added support for direct cash drawer control and for multiple models: • Citizen/Epson • Star • Custom Prior to this, Peeps would simply print the receipt and then the setting in the printer to pop the drawer would kick in.  This is handy, but the drawer pops 100% of the time. At point of sale it's nice if the drawer only pops when change is due and now that's possible.  :) For stores on Peeps' Support, we'll configure this for you, but the settings for cash drawers can be found under Settings > Printers > Receipts > Cash Drawer Options.  You can choose your printer manufacturer from the list and even test the drawer from here.  We also provided an option for 'Custom' in case there's a printer and drawer type that comes along and it's not one already in the list. Since the drawer pop is likely already set in the receipt printer itself, this just has to be switched off.  Then the drawer will only pop when asked to do so by Peeps.  :)

Option to 'Re-Consign' (Change Date In) When Statusing as 'Make Available Again'

There's a handy feature when using the 'Make Available Again' Status.  Since this status is commonly utilized to bring items back into inventory -- e.g. if they were in storage for a season -- Peeps will now ask if you'd like to set these items' 'Date Added' to today's date, to 're-consign' the items. Peeps will only prompt the first time/first item, so you're not asked each time during the current Statusing session.

Big thanks to Chloe for all the help identifying exactly when this bug was happening!  This has been...bugging stores for a bit now! This was ultimately a rounding (Floor vs. Ceiling) issue. 'Recently Updated' Tab On Recent Accounts Screen

There's a new 'Recently Updated' tab in the 'Recent' section for Accounts!  So in addition to Recently Added, Recently Viewed, Frequently Viewed, and VIP tabs, there's noew Recently Updated. Stores have asked for this for a few things: • Finding an account that was recently changed, but their information is completely different now • Seeing accounts that were updated by staff (and spot any possible patterns) This list also shows 'Updated By' so you can see the user account that made the update. This tab will display up to 50 total accounts.

Drop n Go - Option to Make It Be An 'Item', 'Tote', 'Bin', etc. (i.e. Customize It)

You can now customize the Drop n Go 'item' label!  Now, instead of a drop always being for "10 items" it can now be for "10 bins" or "10 totes" or anything you'd like! From the Drop n Go screen, click the Settings icon at the top and you can now set the 'Item Text'.  By default this is 'items', but you can set it to any text you'd like -- e.g. bins, totes, boxes, etc. For a handful of keywords, Peeps will try to detect this and auto-set the grammar for them -- e.g. "1 tote" vs. "7 totes". This will then reflect on your printouts/receipts, emails/texts. This was requested by a number of stores, the first being MLR!

Drop n Go Signature Capture

Signature Capture for Drop n Gos is here!  You can now capture signatures for Drops using your PIN Pad.  We'll be adding this for our Smart Tablets and Signature Pads as well, but this first addition is for stores with compatible PIN Pads (i.e. anyone on Priority Payment Systems CC). There's a new 'Sign' button on the Drop n Go screen and on stations with PIN Pads enabled, this will prompt the consignor/customer/buyer to sign. Signatures are automatically stores in Peeps' signature folder and are available for viewing from any workstation by double-clicking the Drop in question.

Use Specific Amount for Store Credit

You can now use a specific dollar amount for Store Credit payments @ POS (vs. having to use all of it). When clicking/tapping the Store Credit payment button, you'll now see a mini-window appear that allows you to specify a partial amount of Store Credit to use.
