1-Across Mini -- Barcode Too Small
The 1-Across Mini label's barcode wouldn't scan for certain scanners. Increase the size of the font by a few points and it scans!

X-Charge Object Reference Error
Fixed the Object Reference error that can come back on certain X-Charge transactions -- specifically, swiped Debit Purchases.

Improve Performance @ Closing/Finishing Add Inventory Screen
When closing the Add Inventory screen, it was refreshing account items + totals every time it was closed. This isn't necessary if you're not viewing the Account Overview screen, so I've adjusted these updates to only happen *if* you're adding inventory from within the Account Overview screen.
In additon to this, there's a new preference on the Account Overview screen -- you can disable whether or not you want to Auto-Refresh (it's enabled by default). This let's you choose to manually refresh, if you want to see the most-recent totals within an account.
These two changes make closing out of the Add Inventory screen (for stores with large databases) MUCH quicker!

Add 'Straight Talk Wireless' to List of Cell Carriers
Added Straight Talk Wirless to the cell provider database! This is essentially Verizon, as they use the same network, but it has its own selection in the list now. :)

Tax Total Breakouts on Primary Sales Report
Tying in with Bug IDs 2333 & 2334, the bottom of the Primary Sales report now shows Tax Collected/Refunded/Total.
This provides a more-consistent tax view across the main reports @ Primary Sales, Core Totals, and Tax Totals.

Tax Totals Report Shows Tax for Sales, But Isn't Offset By Tax 'Out' During Refunds
The Tax Totals report was not properly accounting for refunded tax dollars. The Tax Totals report now breaks-out taxes as follows:
• Tax Collected
• Tax Refunded
• Tax Total
This ties-in with Bug ID 2333.

Core Totals -- Total Tax Shows Sales + Refunds vs. Sales - Refunds
The Core Totals report was "minusing a negative" @ refunded tax amounts. Core Totals now not only properly accounts for refunded tax dollars, it also breaks-out tax amounts as follows:
• Tax Collected
• Tax Refunded
• Tax Total
This way, you can account for all tax amounts that came in, all tax amounts that went out, and the total tax amount altogether.

Fixed! :) This was a cosmetic issue @ showing both the formatted amount for currency + the informational message that also had a $ symbol before the amount -- e.g. $$1,500.00

X-Charge -- Add 'Installed/Not Installed' Notice on Settings > Point of Sale > Credit Cards
In addition to the pop-up message that appears if X-Charge is selected, but not found on the workstation, there's also an on-screen 'Status' that displays now!
If X-Charge is found on the local system, the Status will show "X-Charge is installed!" in green. If X-Charge is NOT found on the local system, the Status will show "X-Charge is NOT installed!!!" in red.

Introducing the all-new BIG TAG! Furniture stores have asked for a large hang-tag for their stores and I think this one fits the bill!
It's a 3x5 thermal hang-tag, available from Barcode Warehouse. There's a link to it within the software or visit https://thecomputerpeeps.com/tags/bigtag. It's Item # BCW 1185190 DT on the Barcode Warehouse website.
I don't think this is limited to furniture stores only though! With it being such a big and easy-to read tag, it could work in a kids' store, or even for apparel stores.
There is both a Big Tag option, as well as a Big Tag (Markdown) option.

X-Charge Configure PIN Pad -- Change from 'OK' to 'Yes/No' Prompt Before Starting
Instead of just prompting to let you know the PIN Pad configuration process can take a few seconds to start, Peeps now asks if you'd like to proceed so you can choose whether or not you want to start configuring your PIN Pad.

Customers utilizing OpenEdge's X-Charge credit card integration and a compatible PIN Pad, can now utilize it for Store Credit signature capture @ Point of Sale!

Cash Payouts -- Reports for Past Days, One Day Range, Also Include the Day After
The Cash Payouts on both the POS Payment Totals report, as well as the Payouts reports (both standard and itemized, as well as Voided) now properly query the 'Through' date!

Add Military 'State' Abbreviations to State Drop-down
Added Military 'State' abbreviations to Add Account and View Account screens! There are now three new 'State' options in the list -- AA, AE, and AP.
These are the standardized abbreviations for military installations, required for military personal (and when mailing checks, etc.)

Add Timeout Increase to Mailing List Export (By Purchases)
The various Mailing List exports now include an explicitly set 'grace period' (up to 8 minutes) to allow larger exports to complete. This helps prevent the 'timeout' error that prevented exports from completing.

Improvements to Consignor Login Upload System
The Consignor Login upload routine has a handful of new improvements! First, each time a History entry is uploaded, it is now flagged as such. This makes for a MUCH faster upload since it's only uploading records that have not been loaded vs. every record.
Also, the balance that displays in the Consignor Login system is now tied directly to the query within Peeps' Software itself. This provides a more-consistent balance between the two systems.

Option to Set Custom Hours for End of Day Closeout
You can now specify custom hours for your End-of-Day routine! Up until now, if End-of-Day was enabled, the hours were hard-coded to be between 3:30 PM and 8:30 PM. If the software was closed during this time, it will ask if you'd like to process End-of-Day.
Now you can set your own timeframe! Click Settings > Use End-of-Day > Options and you can now set a from/through time for your hours.

Option To Enable/Override 'Proper Case' for Names
There's a new 'Proper Case' override for accounts! When creating accounts, by default, Peeps' Software 'cleans' the First/Last Name and Address.
This prevents SiLLY mIStAkes. :)
Sometimes though, an account's name, their address, or even their business name, will have 'Embedded Caps' -- e.g. McCormick.
Now, when changing an account's details, a new checkbox showing ↑↓ appears when you're changing their info. This allows you to disable the forced 'Proper Case' on their name, address, and business name.

Payout Advance -- Issues w/ Address + Voiding
Fixed the Payout Advance routine! The 'Show Address' feature for regular checks, was causing an error when trying to cut a Payout Advance -- this has been fixed.
This brought to the surface, another issue -- when you void a Payout and it's a Payout Advance, the money (Account History) on the account wasn't put back. Now, when voiding a Payout Advance, it creates a corresponding 'Payout Advance Reversal' History entry for the amount.

'Expired' Not Showing In Red on Items Tab As of v2.14
The Status field displays in red again, if an item's Sold date is after the Expire date (and the Last Net was $0.00).

'Total Due' Dollar Amount Slightly Cut-off @ POS for Large Dollar Amounts
The large 'Total Due' amount on the POS screen, would cut-off the Cents for larger dollar amounts -- e.g. $1,000.00 or greater.
This amount now auto-sizes for larger amounts (anything over $999.99), so it no longer cuts-off. :)
There's also a setting to disable/enable this, under Settings > Point of Sale > More. This setting is on by default.

Peeps2Go Mobile Images is here! You can now take pics for items using Peeps2Go on your phone or tablet!
There's a new 'Add Images' button on the home screen. :)
There are some quick access buttons to quickly get to items that need images too:
• Web Inventory (any items flagged to be sold online)
• Recent Inventory (any items entered in the last few days)
• Barcode ID (specify any Barcode ID you want to add a picture to)

'Forfeit' Payout Type That Closes/Abandons 'Old' Money
There's a new 'Forfeit' Payout Type! This is the built-in function that allows you to completely close-out 'old' money on accounts.
You can Forfeit on a per-account basis, or in bulk!
It functions just like a normal Payout, so you'd 'pay' the account(s) as normal. Instead of printing a check or cash payout though, this lets you close that old money + be able to report on any forfeited money.

Add Peeps' Remote 'Shortcut' To Software + Deploy Peeps' Remote w/ Installer
There's a new Peeps' Remote button on the Help tab! For stores not yet on Peeps' Support, or who didn't purchase MiniPeep systems, our remote is not setup to run full-time.
This provides an easier way for those customers to launch Peeps' Remote vs. having to go to our website and run our remote from there. :)

Tabbing Through Category Details w/ "Smart Pricing", Half-a-second Delay
The 'Smart Pricing' lookups have been moved to a Background Worker/separate thread! This means, the fields and screen won't be impacted by a delay when tabbing away to the next field.

You can now add Categories on-the-fly! Next to the Category drop-down on the Add Inventory screen, you'll see a new + button. :)

Application Path/Directory Setting
Added the 'Application Path' setting within Store Preferences! This provides a way to set the main Application Path, on networked workstations, so they can each be set to point to the server for storing signatures, etc.
The AppPath setting already existed and was set directly in the settings file, but this provides an easy UI to do so. :)
