Documenting a change (and improvement) in behavior for the Date Selector that comes up when printing a Picklist from within an account.

Where this screen typically shows the option to Show vs. Print, now, it automatically shows the report and the Show/Print selection isn't visible.

This is based on feedback from multiple stores, who typically want to see this report first vs. ever printing it without viewing it first.

This also prevents accidental prints of the Picklist, when you were just intending to view it and not print it yet.

There are five new AWESOME Performance reports!  Under Reports > Stats, you'll find five Performance reports for inventory:

• Performance (Dept/Cat)
• Performance (Dept/Cat/Brand)
• Performance (Dept/Cat/Size)
• Performance (Dept/Cat/Brand/Size)
• Performance (Dept/Cat/All Details)

These provide a detailed analysis of inventory sales, so you can see exactly which items are (and are not) selling.

Some of the key totals being:

• % Sold
• Total Sold
• Total Price Sold
• Avg. Price
• Avg. Price Sold

Being able to see the Total Sold vs. % Sold is key, as % Sold is meaningless on its own -- e.g. 100% of an item sold, but you only had one of them and sold one of them.  ;)

And by breaking these out from high-level (e.g. Department & Category) to drilled-down levels (e.g. Department, Category & Brand, etc.) these reports provide a very detailed view into your inventory's performance.

I've added the Phone # and Email to both the Wishes report, as well as the Wishlist Matches report, for BOTH the account who wished for the items, as well as for the account(s) with matching items to the wish.

This is great for being able to call and/or email either account -- the account who made the wish, to see if they're interested in other items you have, as well as the account with matching items, to see if they happen to have other items similar to the wished item!

There's a new 'Balance', as well as a 'Balance Total' on the Gift Card History report!  This shows in the group summary for each card, so you can not only see the open balance of any card, but you can also see the grand total of all outstanding Gift Cards!

The latter is great for seeing "how much is still out there?" for Gift Cards you've sold!

There's also a broken out 'Renewed' total, showing each time a card was renewed/re-sold at point of sale.

Documenting a change to the Account History Summary report.  Previously, entries were 'grouped by' the entry Description, which would result in redundant (e.g. Buy Outright, POS Refund, Account Credit, etc.) entries.

Now, the report groups by Entry Type, which is more in-line with the intent of the Account History Summary report!

  # 2959 ★   Pre-Filled Dollar Amounts for Account Credits/Debits Enhancement   True
 
 
 
You can now set a default amount for your Account Credits and Debits!  If you have fees you charge consignors -- e.g. for Batteries, Steam Cleaning, etc. -- now you can pre-set a dollar amount for these vs. manually entering the amount each time!

To set the default amount for your Credit/Debit History Types, head to Settings > Store More and click the Account History Types button.  Double-click any History Type -- e.g. Batteries -- you want to set a dollar amount for and click Save!

You can always override this amount on-the-fly, but this helps pre-fill amounts for things you do over and over again.  :)

You will still be prompted and given an opportunity to proceed or cancel.

You can now print Mailing Labels by Payout Date!  Where checks are designed to fit inside of "windowed envelopes" and have the account address printed on the check itself, if your store's using non-windowed envelopes, you can print Mailing Labels for them!

You can now set a Default Item Alert on Categories, so all of your new items going in under that Category automatically get their Item Alert added!

This is great for specific types of items -- e.g. if you always include hanging hardware with picture frames -- so you don't have to remember to set that alert on each and every item.

To set the Alert Text you'd like to use for a specific Category, head to Settings > Inventory and select your Department > Category.  Right-click on the Category and choose Edit Alerts.

This is super-handy not only for finding out if someone was "up to no good," but mainly to see if an employee was trying to do something they legitimately need to do, but don't currently have access to in Peeps!

You can now view a Layaway (or any Sale!) directly from within an account!  When right-clicking an item, there's a 'View Sale History' option, showing any/all sales associated with the item.  From this screen, you can now double-click the Layaway (or Sale) to view the actual Layaway (or Sale)!

And since this same 'View Sale History' menu is also available on the main Search Inventory screen, you can do the same from there too!

There's a new option for Consignor Contracts, that allows you to control whether or not the contract will display for printing, after a signature is captured!

By default, Peeps will display the contract after it's signed, so you can print it.  For stores that are paperless, this can be disabled by clicking the Settings icon at the top of the Account Overview screen.  Just un-check the 'Display Contract After Signing' option.

  # 2580 Option to Use 'Loose' vs. 'Tight' Match for First/Last Name When Adding Accounts Enhancement   False
   
   
There is a new option to use 'Loose' vs' Tight' matching when adding new accounts.

By default, when adding new accounts, Peeps uses 'Tight' matching and checks to see if any accounts with the EXACT same First Name AND Last Name exist.  So if you add an account for Cindy Smith, only accounts matching that exact name would trigger a prompt.

To check for accounts whose First Name is "like" other accounts -- e.g. if you typed 'Cindy A.' for the First Name -- you can disable the 'Tight' check by clicking the Settings icon at the top of the Add Account screen.  This will match on First Names starting with the same letters AND Last Names that match EXACTLY. -- e.g. a new account for Cindy A. Smith would prompt if an account for Cindy Smith existed.

The 'Auto-fit' Search Inventory columns option is now located under the Settings screen on the actual Search Inventory screen itself!

Originally, this was located under Settings > Store > Preferences, but now that there are multiple options/controls for the Search Inventory screen, this option was best under the Search Inventory Settings screen.  :)

There's a new Gift Card Search screen in Peeps' Point of Sale!  On the Gift Card Lookup screen (where you check the balance of a specific Gift Card), there's a new 'Advanced Search' button.

This leads to the full view of all Gift Cards, which can be searched *and* each card can be double-clicked to view the card's entire history!

Sure, there's always been the Gift Card History reports, allowing you to search for all or specific cards, but having an on-the-fly lookup is handier than having to dig into reports.  :)

You can now add Employee Alerts from Peeps2Go!  This is SUPER handy for storeowners/managers who might be at home or on the go, but they want to add an alert so employees see it when the log-in on the selected date at the store!

On your Peeps2Go home screen, just tap/click 'Add Alert'.  You can enter the Alert Text just like you do in Peeps, as well as the Start Date for when the Alert should appear.

This assigns the Alert to all users *except* for you.  :)

The report is grouped by Department, with each Department's respective Categories listed beneath.

You can also see whether or not the Department and/or Category is Active, as well as the Tax assigned to it and the Split Name, if a custom Split has been set for the Category.

You can now view both a list of accounts on the current Split you're viewing, as well as a list of items on the current Split!

While viewing any Split, just click the Info tab and where it already showed the # of Accounts and # of Items  on the current split, there's a new 'View' button next to each!

This lets you view and print a report of either the accounts or items!

Fixed the issue where "duplicate" Payout Fees happened on bulk payouts (Pay Accounts).

The issue wasn't "duplicate" payouts, rather, when a bulk payout routine was done for a specific From/Through date range, the 'Through' excluded the "today's" Payout Fee from the Payout.  Thus, the Payout would be accurate, BUT, the consignor account would be debited for the Payout Fee and it would rollover to the next month's Payout.

Now, Peeps instantly marks this "today" Fee in the Payout when a 'Through' date is set that is lesser than today.

This issue was reported by Donna @ Sadie's Upscale Consignment and Sharon @ Junk & Java!

You can now change item Tag Colors in bulk!  On the Tag Color Discounts screen, there's a new 'Bulk Change' button!

This allows you to change the Tag Color for Available items 'From' their current color, 'To' another color.
