The ConsignPro ‘All Bold Fields Must Be Completed‘ bug is one we see somewhat frequently here at Computer Peeps. First of all, before going any further, it’s time to make the switch off of ConsignPro and get on Peeps’ Software! 60 day free trial, Peeps install it for you and train you and your ConsignPro data (e.g. consignors, items, etc.) are converted over to Peeps! You can even scan your existing ConsignPro inventory into Peeps, so you don’t have to re-tag inventory. Make the switch to Peeps’ Software today!
For a program that’s been out for 20 years, it’s amazing that it still has this many issues. Nonetheless, we still wanted to share this info. for anyone looking for help with the ‘All Bold Fields Must Be Completed‘ bug in ConsignPro. Even with all BOLD fields completed, ConsignPro still won’t let you enter inventory and warns that ‘All Bold Fields Must Be Completed‘:
In short, there is no fix for this. We’ve found this bug on stations with touchscreen monitors (i.e. multiple ‘input’ devices — the screen and the mouse/keyboard), but you’ll find in ConsignPros ongoing list of ‘fixes’ that this bug has come up many times.
So our recommendation, is to switch to Peeps’ Software and leave ConsignPro in the past.
