Haha, of course not. 🙂 I do think someone’s flagging The Computer Peeps as ‘Temporarily Closed‘ on Google though, but I could be wrong. 😉 This is fun!
A few weeks ago, a new customer said she saw it said The Computer Peeps is Temporarily Closed on Google:
That can only happen a few ways:
- Google’s “spiders” crawl the web and determine, based on your website’s info, that the business is closed.
- Someone reports the business as closed.
Now, it’s possible it’s the former, as our Contact Us page ‘goes dark’ after-hours on Saturday night through Sunday:
So maybe it’s just an accident and not intentional. However, it’s been doing so for the better part of three years now, without issue. Things can and do change though, so it’s still possible.
The latter seems more-likely for some reason right now — can anyone help me put my finger on why someone would mark The Computer Peeps as closed? Why would anyone out there want to mark The Computer Peeps as Temporarily Closed — what possible motivation could they have? 😉
