Yesterday ConsignPro announced it will be “merging” with SimpleConsign and that ConsignPro users will eventually have to transition to SimpleConsign. If you’re a store owner that runs ConsignPro, this post is for you.
Peeps’ Software
I opened The Computer Peeps in 2010 and launched Peeps’ Software in 2016. I have been working in the consignment/resale industry since 2003.
I invite store owners currently running ConsignPro to come over to Peeps. We have a full conversion, so you don’t have to re-tag your inventory, and Peeps is just a much better software experience than ConsignPro. And store owners on SimpleConsign, we’ve got you covered as well.

I have Consign Pro and need to switch. After making comments about not going with SimpleConsign Brian has locked me out of the Con Pro Facebook page for awhile. Not long till he will shut me down! People are noticing more problems with Consign Pro. I have to leave thought about Liberty but they are under the same umbrella as SimplecConsign and Brian is with them. I’m finished with Brian!! O would like to learn about your system. We may have talked in the past but now I’m ready to move. Have to!

I have a ton of questions for you. I have a handwritten speed sheet I’m working on. One thing I need to know is do you transfer sold and unsold items? I noticed you added a cash register ringing!! Now add what the daily goal is for the day. Opening the program in the morning shows what the store did today one year ago. Then you set your goal for the day. Can be last years number or a new goal. When the goal is met a box pops up on the screen. Personally, I think it should ding or something. Confetti maybe! My employees love the competition!

Peeps’ ConsignPro Conversion converts all of your *available* inventory over to Peeps, along with your accounts, and account balances. You do *not* have to re-tag your inventory! 🙂

I would like to know more about Computer Peeps. I am with ConsignPro, not all that long ago ; the main reason I purchased the expensive software is because there was no monthly fee. I need to get this figured out. I am a very small shop and am not able to be open as much as I would like due to my Lupus. I would definitely have to close if I had to pay a monthly fee. I don’t bring enough in. Thank you for your time.

Peeps’ Software does not require a monthly fee to run and Peeps’ Software is extremely stable and reliable — i.e. it’s not failing all the time and ‘requiring support’.
I also have a ConsignPro conversion to transfer your existing consignors, available inventory, etc. over to Peeps’ Software so you don’t have to re-tag your store.

I am currently with Consignpro and looking at other options. Please contact me. I need to get a list of questions together but imagine that peeps program runs approximately the same as consignpro. I am brick and mortar. No online sales. Do not require consignor portal.

I like so many others have been with Consign Pro for 14 years and cannot afford to switch to Simple Cosign. I am very small sole proprietor and barely net $50,000 a year. I am about frantic now as to what to do. I cannot afford to switch Merchant Services for processing as I have just gotten a wholesale processing that provided a free machine and it is saving me over $300 a month. Going from spending less than $300 a year with Consign Pro to $159 a month, $200 fee for training, $200 for something else and $500 for a new credit card machine. Can’t do! Any sugggestions?

You absolutely can continue utilizing your existing merchant services company — you do NOT have to switch when you switch to Peeps. The very issues you outlined @ high rates + $500+ for a PIN Pad is exactly what we’ve seen out there as well and it’s why we are with Priority Payment Systems CC. I had to address the same issues for our customers and the rates out there have gotten astronomical *plus* they try to charge $500-$1000 for the PIN Pad — insane.
With Peeps, you do not have any ongoing obligations or subscriptions. Peeps is a buy-once, run it on your own hardware system. We do offer complete support and more with our Peeps’ Support & Peeps’ System Monitoring, which starts @ $200.00/mo for a store with one computer. Peeps’ Support & System Monitoring is NOT required though and you can rest assured that Peeps’ Software runs smoothly and reliably day in and day out, without requiring constant “repair”.
